They are believed to ward off evil, offer protection, and bring good fortune and prosperity. They are commonly placed on either side of a home/palace entrance. But they can also be used for decorative purposes, and make stunning bookends. This pair are ceramic, with brown, green, and blue glaze. They are in magnificent condition!
